1: Prep guide
Preparing for a tattoo session involves a few key steps to ensure that you have a successful and comfortable experience. Here are some tips to help you prepare:
Hydrate and eat well: Make sure to drink plenty of water and eat a healthy meal before your appointment. This will help keep your body strong and your immune system healthy.
Get plenty of rest: Tattoo sessions can be long and tiring, so it's important to get plenty of rest the night before to ensure that you are well-rested and alert.
Dress comfortably: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that will allow easy access to the area where you will be getting the tattoo. Avoid tight or restrictive clothing that could rub against the tattoo and cause irritation.
Avoid alcohol and drugs: Avoid drinking alcohol or taking drugs before your appointment, as they can thin your blood and increase your risk of bleeding during the tattoo session.
Communicate with your artist: Let me know about any concerns or questions you may have before the session. This will help you feel more comfortable and relaxed during the tattoo process.
Following these tips will help ensure that you have a successful and enjoyable tattoo experience.

3: Aftercare guide
Proper aftercare is essential to ensure that your tattoo heals correctly and looks great for years to come. Here is a simple guide to help you take care of your new tattoo:
Leave the bandage on for at least 2-4 hours: I will apply a bandage or wrap to your new tattoo. Leave it on for at least 2-4 hours to protect the tattoo from bacteria.
After removing the bandage, gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water. Avoid using hot water, harsh soaps or scrubbing the tattoo. Gently pat it dry with a clean towel.
After washing and drying the tattoo, apply a thin layer of tattoo aftercare ointment, such as cicaplast B5 gel or hustle butter. Apply the ointment 2-3 times a day for the first 3-5 days.
Do not pick or scratch at the tattoo, as this can damage the skin and ruin the design. Also, avoid wearing tight clothing that can rub against the tattoo when it's fresh.
Avoid exposing the tattoo to direct sunlight, tanning beds, or swimming pools for at least 2-3 weeks after getting the tattoo.
Keep moisturising your tattoo regularly, 2-3 times a day  for a couple weeks will do!
Be patient: The healing process can take up to 2-3 weeks, depending on the size and location of the tattoo. Be patient and follow the aftercare instructions carefully to ensure that your tattoo heals correctly.
If you have any concerns or questions about your tattoo aftercare, don't hesitate to contact me for advice.
